It’s been a while since my last podcast, I’m starting to really enjoy doing this. This time I did a selection of songs that I’d like to listen to on a night out. Although some of them are not that difficult to hear at a nice nightclub, I seriously doubt that a DJ that plays System of A Down would also pull out a Madonna song… and yes, I have the balls to include Madonna!

Adrift Podcast - edition 02

On edition 2 of Adrift Podcast I decided to tone down a little, it’s mostly slow, but very intensive songs. After a sort of electronic oriented edition, I decided to do something with a very different sound. This was the kind of thing I listened maybe two years ago, lot’s of Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed You Black Emperour!, stuff like that. There’s also some recent things, like the song by Patrick Wolf, which I adore and the first single from the Sigur Rós album “Takk”. In the end “Ziggy Stardust”, the Bauhaus version, which I prefer to the Bowie original.
